Just to let you know...After Winter Break a list of 10 or more spelling words will be given each Monday. These spelling words all follow a particular phonics pattern, which is being taught during the week. Students are expected to learn the pattern and will be tested on every Friday unless advised. A spelling dictation will also be added to to the spelling test each week.
New FRY words, or high frequency words, are introduced every week. A reading word test will given to assess the students' on their ability to read the words every Monday or Tuesday each week. Spelling Words FRY Words (Scroll Down)
